When a medical emergency arises in the North Fork Valley, a the citizens of Paonia, Hotchkiss, Crawford, Somerset and the outlying areas, rely on the dedicated volunteers of the North Fork Ambulance Association. Answering calls for service is a team of dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers who proudly serve their community while helping their neighbors in a time of need.

The NFAA provides 24/7/365 emergency Basic Life Support services to the North Fork Valley, encompassing approximately 1,500 square miles. Tha'ts a service area roughly the same size as the entire state of Rhode Island, and the NFAA does it all with volunteer EMTs and Drivers, responding 24 hours a day to serve their community.

No matter when an emergency arises, the volunteers of the NFAA respond with professionalism, compassion and enthusiasm for supporting their community and providing pre-hospital emergency care. These individuals who vary in levels of experience and years of service are the unsung heroes of Delta County and the North Fork Valley along with the dedicated volunteers of the Paonia, Hotchkiss and Crawford Fire Departments.
