Save a life - Become CPR Certified

The dedicated volunteers of the NFAA would like to encourage everyone in the North Fork Valley to become CPR certified. Becoming CPR certified means that you can help save someone's life by delivering early access to CPR prior to EMS arrival, and since literally every minute counts when someone is suffering from a heart attack, we need you- the citizens of the North Fork, to become CPR Certified to help save the lives of your friends, colleagues and family.

According to the American Heart Association, back in 1960, a group of resuscitation pioneers combined mouth-to-mouth breathing with chest compressions to create Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, the lifesaving action we now call “CPR.” This action, when provided immediately after a sudden cardiac arrest, can double – even triple – a victim’s chance of survival.
