EMTs- do you have enough Continuing Education Credits to recertify? The State of Colorado requires 36 hours over three years. As an EMT running with the NFAA, it is your responsibility to attend necessary CE training, or arrange to complete training on your own schedule, to ensure you meet the minimum requirements to be re-certified, and to keep running with the NFAA. As a volunteer EMT with the NFAA, you are provided with monthly CE training at no cost to you, so that you can enhance your skills, and be better prepared for emergencies which may arise.

Since Continuing Education is such a vital component of EMS training and maintaining your certification, please make every effort possible to attend every CE training event hosted. The monthly CE schedule is listed below and is published in the staff newsletter and on the Calendar of Events on the staff homepage.
