Meet our Station Captains!

Our Station Captains keep each of our stations in Paonia, Hotchkiss and Crawford running smoothly and are the link between the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Physician Advisor and the EMTs providing emergency care in the field. These station captains work hard on tasks ranging from making sure the rigs are clean, fueled up and ready to go, to making sure the Ambulances get the service required. They also order patient care supplies, hold crew meetings and review patient care reports completed by EMTs after each run in addition to being the first link in the Application process for prospective crew volunteers and are often the first people prospective volunteers meet.

If you are interested in learning more about the requirements associated with being a CPR Certified Driver or becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), please contact the Station Captain for the community in which you live. They will walk you through the requirements and application process.
